I'm looking forward to the best reunion ever;thinking, all that can, should participate. There will come a time when we may not be able and it might be sooner than we care to think. |

Graduation was a special day for me. It meant Freedom. That was the day I found out about the real world. Being at the Methodist Home since 1960, graduation put me on the course that was based on my own decisions. Uncle Sam started my journey by way of the US Navy. I put 6yrs of active duty, 1yr in San Diego for Electrician Mate A School, 3yrs in Pearl Harbour, repairing everything from Viet Nam, 2yrs Charleston, SC on a wooden Minesweeper. Saw 5 different countries and then discharged. I moved to Minnesota with my wife of 2yrs and used my GI bill for OJT with one of the Nation's largest printing industries and worked my way up the ladder until I was injured while holding maintaince on my press. Was forced out of the work force in 1985. Have had 5 spinal surgeries and each one has kept me out of the wheelchair. I use a cane most of the time but I still keep plugging away on doing it myself. Gave my 1st wife 14yrs and I'm now on my 2nd marriage of 16yrs. We have 5 kids between the two of us. Have 6 grandkids from 3yrs to 15yrs of age. I work and build computers on the side and for a hobby I operate HO scale Model Trains. I'm also a member of the Pocahontas Chapter of the National Railway Historical Society. I'm looking forward to seeing all again. I'll be there for both nights. Hope all had a great Independence Day! |

I can't say that I've missed the July weather since leaving Waco now almost 40 years ago, but I look forward to renewing many old friendships during our reunion. The chance to spend a long weekend wrapped in fond memories and good music while hangin' with my homies is just too good to pass up. Thanks to all of you who've taken on the big task of making this happen!

My wife and I have two homes, one in San Antonio and one in Lebanon, TN (near Nashville). I try not to summer in South Texas but that rarely works, I seem to be here when its hot and there when its cold. The only then photo I could find was from my college ID while I was at Texas Tech.

I'm wishing that I had not used all of that baby oil and iodine to bake/sunbathe at Lake Waco! I can't wait to see everyone and catch up.
